1, Production standard: Tubing & casing must satisfy the client’s requirement. Normally in most occasions, the tubing and casing must comply with the API 5CT latest version. And for some special countries, we may need to consider the special standard, for example, RUSSIA and Venezuela.
2, You need to have a comprehensive acknowledge about the supplier, though many ways:
- If it’s OEM or not;
- If it’s an integrated factory or not, what production procedures your supplier can finish by itself？
- If the supplier is qualified by International Standards and maintains the International Standards certification.
- If the supplier has a complete quality control system.
- From which steel plant is the prime material? And is the material supplier reliable or not?
- If the supplier can accept the procedures or final inspection of a world-famous third-party institute, for example, BV, DNV, SGS, etc.
